Ileana Rivera is an incredible asset to our COCO team, taking care of logistics, marketing, and event coordinating. Aside of being apart of the foundation of our creative collective she is a powerhouse activist making a difference in our state and trying to aid those in need who do not have the proper resources; from period kits for women to keeping the homeless warm this winter she is always eager to hand out a helping hand and that’s one of the many things we love about her caring nature.
In our interview we had asked her where this passion to help others developed, she said she can owe that quality about herself from her mother. In Ileana’s upbringing she watched her mom constantly give to others whether its filling up someones tank, giving them warm clothes for the winter, or buying a meal or groceries for those who can’t afford them. she stated she is the type of woman to give you the shirt of her back.
In this upcoming year Ileana is hoping to dive back into her creativity with working on films, painting as a hobby, and more event planning with COCO.

“Hi friends, let’s talk about hygiene...we are in a global pandemic, with a government that has proven to put the wellbeing of their people at the bottom of their list of concerns...as the weather gets warmer and the p*lice continue sweeps, our unhoused friends are in need of our assistance! During a sweep, unhoused people must take all they can carry, and evacuate their current location-everything left behind will be thrown away. I’m starting a Hygiene Kit drive for Boulder/Denver areas. This is my first time starting something like this and I hope to expand it within the next few months”
