what is the biggest challenge you’ve had to encounter pertaining to your passion?

Honestly just believing in myself , I often get really down on myself or I’ll get one not so great client and it sends me into a SPIRAL of ‘damn my work is shit’ but I’ve always made it apparent that everything I shoot is shot for me. Lately im so much better about not worrying about what other people want to see but it does cross my mind sometimes

I completely understand and experience burn out in this field, how do you avoid a burn out? What boundaries have you placed to keep a healthy relationship with your craft?

I don’t LOL I be burnt tf out

Yani is apart of the COCO team. How has coco impacted you? What is the most beneficial factor you’ve taken from being apart of this collective

Honestly, just being able to be around creatives has turned my world around so much. I’ve never been around people who share the same passions or are so utterly passionate about their work. Truly just being around the team keeps me motivated

how would you describe the Colorado creative scene?

I mean ppl r meanies fr ngl

how could we all collectively improve the Denver creative scene?

we just need a better community, more support. Everyone is trying to one up each other and that’s what divides us so badly

Lastly, what are your core values and how do you apply it to your business?

to just be myself, I don’t ever produce a piece that doesn’t reflect who I am as a person. It can be the color scheme, the idea behind the photo, out fit designs whatever. There’s always a piece of vundrr in my work

Your work is phenomenally unique. What made you fall in love with this medium?

it’s like therapy. When words don’t work work I whip out my camera.

list your cameras, which one is your primary and why?

I have a canon a1, canon t6i, Sony Zv-e10, canon r 6 mark 2 and a bunch of Polaroids. The r6 mark 2 is my main one BUT the canon A1 is my favorite. I found it at a thrift store for $150. It’s from the 1970s and was is PRISTENE condition when I got it. Came with the box the instruction booklet & all. Such a steal. I wish I practice film more often so I can fully experience the joys of this canards. The instax mini digital Polaroid camera is also another fav of mine!!

describe your creative process. Where do you pull inspiration from?

I pull all of my inspo from music usually. It’s another way of expressing emotions so I just combine that with photography.

you have mentioned to me you have a passion for marketing as well; can you describe how that transpired and what your long term goals are with that?

OOOO GIRL THIS QUESTIONAIRRE IS REALLLLLLL SPECIFIC, I LOVE MARKETING. Im actually creating mock brand boards RIGHT NOW. I always had a passion for psychology but thats always been an extremely brain numbing topic to learn in school for me. Marketing combines the use of psychology , art and business which are things I’ve always been pretty GOOD at. Marketing is an extremely cool way to understand how emotions and decision making is evoked by (Art) storytelling, colors, or even simple things like where a store puts their snack isles. I also find that exploring the theories of persuasion can be extremely interesting as this is something that companies use EVERYWHERE, that consumers don’t usually realize is constantly right in front of them. Honestly I will say I lean more towards marketing than photography more and more everyday but genuinely , I don’t know what the long term goal is

Who or what would be your dream collaboration?

BRUHH NIKE NIKE NIKE, or jack bridgland, or telfar or coach

what doors do you see opening in 2025? What is your main objective for this upcoming year?

Just take it day by day fr

looking back what has been your favorite shoot in 2024 and why?

My favorite image from this year is DYSTORTION’s boxing gloves. This lowkey didn’t get much traction but this was the first NONPORTRAIT photo I’ve taken in such a long time. I really enjoy the composition behind it and it kind of looks like he’s on mars so I think it’s a bit of a though piece cuz what is a guys doing in plat form heels on mars with the boxing gloves on and a suit? Idk it’s just very odd and that’s what makes it my fav

what is a piece of advice you would give to people just starting out in this field?

to never put your camera down and always keep learning, there’s no right or wrong way to be a photographer.
